Frustrating afternoon as Cwmbran Celtic take the spoils

Saturday we travelled to Celtic Park for the first of 3 fixtures in a week as the YoungGuns looked to pick up there first points of the season. On interview First Team Coach Isaac Berry quoted

Before talking about Saturdays match I’d like to thank Cwmbran Celtic for the hospitality they gave us. Moving onto the game it was another game of frustration for us.
The first half of the game was something as coaching staff we felt we built into really well. We defended well in the early stage of the game defending a number of corners then going on to start causing some threats going forward, unfortunately slightly against the run of play we conceded from the penalty spot.
After half time we picked up where we left off and really took the game to Celtic. Dan Hopper hitting the bar, James Dixon making his first start for the club had a shot well saved and other chances were also created. Celtic then looked to play on the counter attack and defended really well on times. With us then throwing more players forward and Celtic getting deeper we conceded another goal with only a few minutes left.
On reflection again as staff and players something is right around the corner. We ask that you stick with us because the good times will feel much better after these difficult ones. The players and the staff are working around the clock to change things. We need your backing Tuesday as we travel to Cambrian".

Isaac Berry
